SUMMARY:Sheffield and District Orchid Society Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly meeting featuring a talk of a month about orchids followed by some refreshments and the orchid table show discussion. Members also regularly bring some orchids along to sell or give away to other members. \n\n\n\nWe will be having our Monthly talk on orchids detailed. \n\n\n\nHybrid Coelogyne and their cultivation \n\n\n\nby Kevin Wigley \n\n\n\nwww.kevsorchids.co.uk \n\n\n\nThe talk on Coelogyne I’ll be giving them is about hybrid Coelogyne and their cultivation. I grow under lights so I will touch up on aspects of that though I understand that not many orchids growers operate in this way. I’ll concentrate more on the plants themselves and how the species behind them influence their growth habits\, with a slide show to illustrate. \n\n\n\nThere will be plants for sale! \n\n\n\nWe will also hold our usual table show and break to chat with fellow orchid enthusiasts. \n\n\n\nTea\, Coffee and Cake will be £1.50
