SUMMARY:Sheffield Orchid Show and Exotic Plant Fair 2026
DESCRIPTION:Our annual show is on Saturday\, 7 March\, 2026\, 10 am to 4 pm at St. John’s Church Hall\, Abbeydale Road South\, Sheffield S17 3LE.  \n\n\n\nEntrance is £5. Tickets are available from Eventbrite and on-the-door.   \n\n\n\nSDOS Orchid show  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n\n\n\nBelow you can see images of last years Sheffield Orchid Show in 2023. \n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n\n\n\nThere is parking at the Church Hall\, but if this is full it is possible to park on the road outside. \n\n\n\nBus Directions to Abbeydale Road South\, Sheffield \n\n\n\nThe following buses run along Abbeydale Road South\, Sheffield \n\n\n\n97 and 98\, which run approximately every 20 mins on Saturday \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n 97 and 98 runs from Arundel Gate or the Moor in the city centre to St. Johns Church. The church is just after Dore and Totley Rail Station.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBy Rail – The Sheffield to Manchester (The Hope Valley Line) stops at Dore and Totley station\, which is less than a 5 minute walk to the church hall.  \n\n\n\nSix different orchid societies from the Midlands and the North of England will be displaying the best of their growers plants. \n\n\n\nWe are extremely pleased to announce that Britain’s premier orchid vendor\, Spiceotic Plants will be selling orchids and aroids throughout the day. It is possible to preorder plants from them which they will bring to the show\, saving on postage.  \n\n\n\nWacks Wicked will have a sales table with their amazing carnivorous plants. Peter will happily take pre-orders to bring to the show. \n\n\n\nOther traders will be selling cacti and air plants. We also hope to have a dealer who specialises in terrariums. Throughout the day we will have a canteen open offering snacks and hot/cold drinks and tombola where you could win a new orchid. \n\n\n\nFor those who would like lunch at a near-by venue we recommend The Summerhouse\, which is a five minute walk away\, booking is advisable\, visit  \n\n\n\n\nSummerhouse\n\n\n\n\nLocal pubs include the Waggon and Horses\, which is a short car journey away.  \n\n\n\n\nWaggon and Horses\n\n\n\n\nThroughout the day our members will be available to help offer advice and guidance about growing orchids\, particularly to those who are new to this fantastic hobby. \n\n\n\nEverybody is welcome\, we are a really friendly society and will be pleased to see you at our annual show.
