Our annual show is on Saturday, 2 March, 2024, 10 am to 4 pm at St. John’s Church Hall, Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield S17 3LE.
Entrance is £5. Tickets are available from Eventbrite and on-the-door.

There is parking at the Church Hall, but if this is full it is possible to park on the road outside.
Bus Directions to Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield
The following buses run along Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield
- 97 and 98 runs from Arundel Gate or the Moor in the city centre to St. Johns Church. The church is just after Dore and Totley Rail Station.
By Rail – The Sheffield to Manchester (The Hope Valley Line) stops at Dore and Totley station, which is less than a 5 minute walk to the church hall.
Seven different orchid societies from the midlands and the North of England will be displaying the best of their growers plants.There will also be a display of carnivorous plants and a display of orchids that are suitable to grow on a typical Sheffield window sill.
We are extremely pleased to announce that Britain’s premier orchid vendor, Spiceotic Plants will be selling orchids and other plants throughout the day. It is possible to preorder plants from them which they will bring to the show, saving on postage. Please visit their website at
Throughout the day we will have a canteen open offering snacks and hot/cold drinks and tombola where you could win a new orchid.

Throughout the day our members will be available to help offer advice and guidance about growing orchids, particularly to those who are new to this fantastic hobby.
